How this page works
Coles and Woolworths each publish a new set of specials every Wednesday. A large slice of those specials are genuine half price deals — the shelf price is cut to roughly 50% of the usual price for a week or so. The catch is that each supermarket only shows you its own catalogue, and both bury half price items among "Down Down", "Prices Dropped", member-only prices and multi-buys that are not the same thing at all.
This page pulls the half price lines from both retailers into a single list. You can filter by store if you only shop at one, or by category if you are restocking a particular part of the pantry. Every product links through to the retailer's own page, where you can confirm the current price and add it to your online order.
We do not sell anything and we do not take payment from either supermarket. The list is built from the specials both chains publish publicly, and it is rebuilt when the new catalogue drops.

Shopping guides
-
How Coles and Woolworths half price specials actually work
Both chains change specials on a Wednesday and rotate the same products through promotion on a predictable cycle. Once you see the pattern, paying full price becomes optional.
-
Is it really half price? How to read a unit price
The small grey number on the shelf label is the only figure on it that lets you compare two products honestly. Most shoppers never look at it.
-
What is actually worth stockpiling at half price
Buying ahead only saves money on things that keep, that you use predictably, and that are expensive enough for the discount to matter. That rules out most of the shop.
